Hello! Thank you for your interest in my work.

My name is Ashley, and I am a Michigan-based graphic designer and artist with a background in health care. I received my bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and my Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and my Master of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. I am passionate about finding ways to connect health care and design and have spent the past several years doing design work for health care organizations. I enjoy being able to create graphics and design information in a way that is accessible for everyone and helps to make understanding health conditions, finding health care and support services, and navigating the health care system easier. In my personal art work, I explore themes related to the human body, mental health, femininity, animal research, the Victorian era and the natural environment. I create very detailed pieces in a variety of mediums from graphite and colored pencil to acrylic paint to digital media. I have exhibited my work locally throughout Michigan in Grand Rapids, Saline, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Ludington and Ypsilanti.
